Another newbie signing in

Hiya, this looks like an interesting place to be. I've been hunting all my life - Dad started us kids on it before we were 5. Grew up in the forestry, so had the bush on our back doorstep for most of my life (awesome!). Had a break from hunting while I had my family, but now, teaching my kids the joys of it. Took them for a week away last school holidays - my son shot his first goats, and spotted his first stag - fantastic. My daughter was 'there' when we shot some goats.... kinda shocked how many goats around nowdays ! Anyhoo - be interesting to read some of the posts on this MB. Cheers.:thumbsup:

Rambler, several tramping mates of mine has seen goats near Crosbies Hut. Any first-hand knowledge of such?

Cullers went through that area a short while back, but judging by the sign I saw while in the general area on a search last week, they didn't get em all :thumbsup:

wow - a few locals here....one I haven't seen online for a while...scribe :) As for Crosbies - the culler's did a good job, but I know the ol goats are still popping up behind Tapu and the slips behind Tararu/Te Puru.... pretty busy site this - glad I found it
