Another Bloody Saffa! I promise not to mention rugby though…

    Howzit folks,

Having just moved Blenheim, from South Africa, I am a virgin to this beautiful country and its hunting.

I was born and raised on a farm in the Northern parts of South Africa, right in the heart of the bushveld, bordering the Kruger National Park, and started shooting/hunting before my front teeth fell out. I am mostly a venison hunter and dont have any trophies as such, but have always enjoyed hunting new species in new ways. I am really looking forward to giving the Kiwi hunting a shot.

I will be flying to SA in January to collect my girls- 375 Ruger, 308 Win, 6.5 Grendel, 22 LR, 357 Lever and S/S Shottie Hammergun.

I sold off my Rollie, 3 pistols and my Saiga Semi Auto due to the red-tape involved.

I hope to bump into some of you in the field.

    Cheers
    Christian

    Welcome.
You can keep the chicken and the stripey horse (we have one of our own). Im impressed by the horned beasts though, very nice and very lucky.

Nice, and welcome. Although "Kiwi hunting" is frowned upon in most circles. Here, we shoot pretty much anything from a different country of origin, but the odd Saffa is tolerated

    Welcome along.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Thanks all. The big chicken is pretty good eating, the striped horse less so. The Zebra skin made it to NZ though. Thinking I need a matching pair of these…
