    Been sniffing around a while.

Hi everyone, I have been around the chat for a while, just reading and piping up every now and again, but have recently seen it mentioned a couple of times that the introduction is significant in joining the community.
I'm a early 30's father of 3, farming in the south of the south. I've always been interested in hunting but its never made it far enough up the hobbie list for serious expeditions so mostly farm hunting for me so far. Due to no longer being up to my main sport, rugby, I'm keen to get into it more and I need something to get me off the farm once in a while.
My little brother was a serious hunter. Big missions up and down the laps on both coasts, a couple of fiordland trips and a stint guiding in the northern mountain forests of British Columbia.
I always anticipated he would drag my big ass out and show me some real nz hunting when he came home to farm with me.
We lost him before that plan came together. If anything, this has made me more determined now to make it happen, live some of the experiences that he lived and hopefully measure up to some of his legacy.

Anyway, love this forum, heaps of super helpful people, looking forward to hopefully contributing some stuff that will add to the experience of this page.
    Cheers.

    What Ho,

Welcome to the "sharp end' of the site.

As your post will get buried in time, perhaps consider copying and pasting it into your profile so subsequent newcomers can see it also ?

    Welcome. Get stuck in.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
