    Belated intro

Been a member for over a year, given away some freebies via my mate Stevodog, lurked plenty and made a few posts but been slack and not done the intro thing yet. Pretty eclectic shooting interests (but not much of a shotgunner), lots of rimfire stuff since the ‘confiscation’, been to Zim and SA a few times with big bores. Safe queens include an Allen Carr 9.3x62 and pre-64 Win Super Grade 30-06. First centrefire a Sako L579 308, little brother is an ex-police Sako A1 222. But not all wood blued, bit of Blaser, Tikka, Bergara, Ruger in the mix too. Don’t get out in the bush much but happy place is hours at the bench drilling holes in paper or playing in the man cave (eg perfecting trigger pulls).
Confess to divided loyalty also trying to maintain and get some use out of my Lidgard keeler.
Pay for it all doctoring in a couple of hospitals around Auckland.
Like others pretty stressed with recent events. Supporting COLFO and SSANZ.

    Welcome Charlie.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Welcome
Looks like you should put up a picture or two in the "walnut and blued steel" section and "whos using a 9.3x62 " and let it out of the safe more often

Welcome Charlie, there's a few of us feeling pretty down at the moment, i'm assuming you've already discovered that it's a great community here (i sure have) and i'm sure you know there are plenty of us here who will help if you think the stress might be getting to you, even if its just a listening ear you need - hope you won't be too uncomfortable to ask/vent, we're all in this together

also yes. i second the need for some sweet pics!

Welcome, I’m envious of your line up of rifles!

Like you I’m gutted by the overreaction to the March massacre, no need for such draconian laws.
