Thread: Buy sell swap

Hi all,

I’ve heard great things about the forum and the buy sell swap. I have just made an account as I am keen to get involved.
I don’t seem to have access to buy sell swap, is this something you need to be accepting into

Any help would be appreciated

I think you need a minimum post count to view the Buy & Sell forum. I can't remember if its 5 posts or 50... you could ask in the questions comments admin forum

there is no post count, and I cannot say what or when you will access as we don't want the scammers figuring out how to work around our current measures, safe to say though if you hang around and contribute, you will eventually be granted access to the buy sell section. This place is so much more than just a sales board so make use of it, the buy sell will come in good time.

I'm sorry it has to be this way but we have had far too many members ripped off and got to the point we were removing multiple scammer accounts every day, since the latest rounds of measures have been put in place there have been none, so whilst inconvenient it is working

@dannyb curious to know how some guys with low posts are getting access to the buy sell? Saw one the other day with two posts and both for sale posts. Are they legit or dodgy?
One had some gear for sale I was keen to jump on but a bit nervous about it.

Existing long term members are grandfathered in. New members not so much

I have bought and sold on this forum in the past couple of years, but have no access now. Any chance of having my access restored? Us pensioners enjoy the bits and bobs on offer and can even add a few ourselves. How about two BSA majestics, in 222 and 223, both threaded 1/2x 20 and new Leupolds fitted, just to wet your appetite.
