    Don't scoff at commuting from out of town. I have a few friends who have decided to move out of town and are loving it.

    I on the other side of Springston, commuted to the airport every day (usually twice in a 24hr period, gotta love shift work!). Back roads I really enjoyed it out there. Just need to plan your trips to town a bit better - there's no 'nipping down to the dairy for milk' option really.
