    hey everyone
    been reading all the good stuff on this forum or ages so about time i joined
    im simon aka peewoks im 25 living in paremoremo working as a deisel mechanic
    been shooting possums rabbits etc since i was a kid but just started getting real into big game last year and im hooked
    mainly hunt the kaimais but have had a few opportunities to hunt some private land around the nth island
    first public land hunt was pureoras and that was all good saw my first deer shit haha then in may started hitting the kaimais and since then have knocked over 3 reds in there with my trusty .308
    shot my first stag at the start of the year a 6 point sika (fat as fuck) in velvet and that was fuckin great will do a full story about that when i get some time
    and most importantly i drink tui
    look forward to meeting other hunters and talking shit with you all

    Hell fantail you will need to go easy on the swear words like Tui, we are a fairly straight bunch here. Ha ha ha ha welcome mate.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
