    Des O'Neile.

I was sent a link to this site so I'm on here in the hope I may learn something. I have been working with dogs for over forty years, pointing dogs since 1976 and sort of specialised in Pointers since 1988. I have made up several champions but without a doubt the highlight of my time with dogs was running my dog Roi, F.T.Ch. Prince of Darkness in the winning Irish Team at Balmoral in 2000. If any Irish team member had dropped 15 points or more we wouldn't have cut the mustard but for some reason Roi's work on a double covey just below the sumit of Lough Nagar that involed two flushes and six birds shot is regagded as having sealed the deal.

Welcome to the forum Des. There are a good number of folk on here that run dogs (I am not one of them). Enjoy
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Welcome.
I have two mongrel pot lickers, i love them but they are both useless.
I figure by the time they have both gone to the big pot of left over venison stew in the sky i may have time to put into training a hunting dog.
Till then i will read dog threads on here and not contribute much.
