Hi All!
Long time lurker, and (a wee while ago now) contributor to FishnHunt (as "Manual Man") but after seeing how inactive it is these days I've finally jumped ship to here.
Cheers!

welcome to the real forum and watch out for phil_h
nahh serious he's a good bugga
lots of useful info here, opinions too and just like arseholes everyone has one (inc 270 users)
Hi Ben - welcome. I remember your useful contributions on FnH from many moons ago.
FnH has been a very good forum but it is quiet now. NZHS encourages much more engagement, chat about firearms, topical issues etc, and seems to be growing very well.
I keep an eye on both..
Welcome Ben, prepare for a bit more activity than across the road at the ghost pub
Good to see you have made the jump
I’m a member of both - and wonder why the ‘other pub’ is so quiet?
‘Many of my bullets have died in vain’
welcome Ben.....hard case bunch of folks here, and it sure gets a lot of traffic.
@bzw Hi Ben. Welcome. R U X Upper or Lower Hutt?
Welcome mate.
I've posted a few threads on FnH recently (same user name as here) and its like a morgue. Certainly lots of views, but very little interaction.
IMO its a combination of factors hammering in the nails in its coffin.
I can't see the trend being reversed. Should FnH close, it will take a lot of knowledge hosted on it pages.
Although much is now buried away and difficult to find, ie the 2002-2006 FnH forum domain is no longer supported and available.
Welcome to Sako club.
Hi Ben....welcome aboard
Welcome Ben
Thanks for the welcomes everyone! I guess FnH is victim the nature of the internet which encourages centralisation of knowledge on a subject, if you're not first, you're last sort of thing.
Upper Hutt, followed family down. Being into mountain biking, climbing and hunting I'm loving how much of each there is at hand in Canty (or within a few hours drive). Still need to find a local range to join though.
Welcome along.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
