    Forum time!!

    Hi people

So I'm mad keen on hunting. Still a new fish to the game and lots to learn. Have three deer under my belt so far. Looking for other hunters to organise trips with as my mates are, well..... Their just not bloody into hunting!?!? Not sure what's wrong with them really??

Kinda sick of the solo missions atm. Don't mind traveling far for a hunt. As there doesn't seem to be much around chch to shoot.

So feel free to pm me to organise something

    Cheers

    Welcome NTT.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Welcome NTT, few of us on here from Christchurch. PM anytime - have a good bunch of guys I hunt with here and always room for more. We're heading down to waimate for a wallaby hunt in a few weeks and will possibly have another seat.

    Enjoy the forums

Remington 700, 22-250. First rifle. Don't ask why I choose that make or calibre. Seems to be doing the job so far. In saying that, havnt had to make a kill shot over 100mtrs.
So I guess we will see.

It's a great cal. Nothing wrong with small and fast. I know an older guy who paid for his PHD recovering venison with a .22-250 and won't even acknowledge other calibres exisinting over that. Nice rifle.

Yeah perhaps, generally speaking it's dog tucker for us. Seems wrong when we have a surplus of venison
