    G’day

G’day team, I have spent plenty of time browsing so thought I better chuck a quick intro up. Based in Darfield, Canterbury and have been hunting the high country for a few years now. Started chasing wallabies after getting my FAL and then deer and chamois around on stations that I worked on. Pretty keen to get into reloading and start tinkering with bullet loads for some longer range shooting, there seems to be plenty of great bits of advice on here which is awesome!

    Welcome aboard

It’s no problem to help you with reloading info tips and tricks

What rifle and chambering/caliber are you interested in using for long range harvesting of animals

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Thanks, I have settled on a Remington Model 700 in 7mm08 as a good all-rounder, pretty keen on getting it set up with a decent scope and then looking at different loads. I’ve seen a lot of people talking about getting 162gr eld-x or m’s going in theirs and thought that sounded like an interesting pairing.
