Hi there,
Thinking of getting an air rifle for some backyard plinking and minor pest control.
Having not fired a gun in over thirty years thought I’d pop my head in here as I research my options
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum Ian.
There are people here who will know quite a bit about air rifles I would think :)
Thank you Sir ;)
Hey mate!
I don't think you could go wrong with browsing Gun City's catalogue- the options should give you a good indication of what money can buy.
H&F or your local hunting/fishing stores should also have similar models, similar prices...
I've always owned Gamo, used both .22 break barrel and currently own a .177 under-lever. I've found the .22 to be more ideal for pest control; but the .177 is great fun regardless.

Welcome aboard
Welcome Ian,
I'm also a fan of Gamo air rifles and the "new" nitro piston system. As already said, the .22 is generaly beter for pests than 177 (fury ones anyway).
