G day from across the ditch

    G day everyone.
I've been lurking around here for a while and have finally decided to introduce myself.
I'm a keen hunter, fisherman and most things outdoorsy from darwin, NT.
Ill be travelling the South Island with my fiancé in a couple of weeks.
I'm definitely going to try my hand at a days knife making in barrytown. Does anyone have Any other suggestions if things to do along the same lines? Is barrytown the only place I can make a knife?
My Missus is keen for a bit of skiing. I've never seen snow before in my life so should be interesting.
    Cheers
    Russ

Welcome to the forum Russ. No wonder you haven't seen snow as Darwin is as hot as the hobs of hell. Mate you need to learn that if you are bringing a cute chick to NZ you don't tell us lot as the whale bloody forum membership will now be in your rear view mirror.
