    G'day

Hi, everyone. Have been having issues getting an account activated but have finally succeeded after a couple of weeks.
Just getting back into shooting after a twenty year break, last chance before I get too fat and old to do anything. Had forgotten how easy it is to be looking for a certain type of gun only to buy something completely different that you don't actually need but has the magpie effect when you see it, was looking for a .223 or .22-250 and ended up buying a .300 WSM oops.
Haven't done a lot of hunting in NZ but keen to do something about that, most of my hunting was in Scotland with a bit of pistol and target shooting thrown in.
From reading the forum, seems there's a load of good folks on here.
Always keen to make new contacts/hunting buddies.
    Cheers
    Chris

Welcome Plinky. It is a good part of the world you live in. They have the best of beers down there as well.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Northdude my allegiance to the King of beers is well known. Waikato is the nectar of the gods, the elixir of life, the undisputed beer of beers. I am sure that Plinky will have encountered it by now and he will have either recognised it for the supreme drop that it is or he will be a weak liveried Nancy pants like a lot of other nay sayers on this forum.
    Pointer and northdude like this.
