    Welcome in mate.
    Be careful of those two.
One will have you drinking mud, the other will keep trying to sell you a 270 from his secret stash of them.

Welcome aboard, avoid anything with a green label on it unless you're thirsty enough that you don't mind being mocked. Forever.

Hi Lars, I hope you are patient, it will be the best part of two months before your licence arrives. Use the time to do your homework on the equipment you are looking for, someone more local will be able to point you in the direction of the best places to look and what your local A/O's expectations might be.
I got my A cat safe from "https://www.1-day.co.nz/" they come up every now and then and the A/O that checked mine (and me) was happy with it, but beware I understand all A/O's are not created equal and what is good for one may not meet another's standards. It should not be a problem but again someone more local may have a better idea of local expectations.

    Welcome Lars,

The other 5615 of us will warn you about drinking cow piss laden river water, but hey this IS a democracy so go right ahead

Good to hear that you want to get the boys into hunting, as they say "you'l learn no harm from the hills!"

Good bunch here who like the occasional stoush (words only).

Buy the best safe you can afford and try to hide it if you can. It is really unpleasant to have your firearms stolen.

Welcome. Cheapest gun safe I could find was Save Barn. Seems sturdy enough and the police were happy with it. On the downside, it is a 5 gun safe, it may be suitable for 5 single barrel shotguns, but already struggling with one shotgun and one scoped rifle, so you may want to get something bigger.
