    G'day all

    Gday All
New to forum but this will be my 7 th trip to NZ in 10 years ,covid stuffed my plans. Been hunting and shooting for over 45 years, ex military and game guide in Africa in a previous life.
Will be spending September to December in NZ hunting and fishing.
Just going through the motions of importing firearm paperwork ATM

Compared to before covid , fly in, pay $ 25 to coppers at airport , go to gunstore buy weapon. Hunting 3 hrs after arrival. Now it's hoop after hoop.
Hopefully meet up with a few of you guys while down there, i have access to 2 private properties if anyone have some time off.
Now back to trying to get a car dealer willing to fit an approved cabinet, the latest hoop.

    Welcome aboard.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

bluebaiter - that problem would soon enough be over if they put him in general population

    I prefer SI
I have no obligations or steadfast plans except 1 Oct, be on some backwater probably in the Riversdale area (only cause I know the area) for the opening of season and its probably my last fish with an old m8 who is running out on the fight with the big c- he is in a hospice in Gore - we hope he makes opening day, further than that time is my own, will have a campervan sadly no 4x4, ms gets over in Mid October, which probably means we will have to get to NI at some point
Very eager to hear of ideas, not into trophy, happy to hunt anything but Wallabies. ( The All Blacks does enough of that.)
