    I was born and bred in Perth (Freo), so finding NZ a like cooler, it was 28 in Tauranga the other day and was asked "Why are you wearing jeans and shoes, aren't you cooking ???".
    All I had to say was "Its not over 30 yet, then I will go shorts and thongs, sorry jandles"
    Tauranga reminds me of a winter version of QLD !!
