    G'day from Canterbury

    Hi all

Just signed up. I'm based in Christchurch/Nth Canterbury now, though call Wellington home still. I'm just getting into hunting, though shot plenty of bunnies in my time, and used to do smallbore target rifle. I'm keen to get into it seriously, though time is limited with an 8 month old... I'll join the NZDA at some point when funds permit. At the moment I shoot with mates but keen to meet others in the region, especially if you're a beginner like me. I'm also keen to get into reloading at some point too. Maybe I'll have to give up the golf...

    Cheers
    Richard

    Welcome Scrub Diver.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Welcome, - Amberly seems to have a thriving small-bore club, publishing their scores in the local free News Paper. Hawarden used to /maybe still does have a small-bore club. There's a good wee pistol club at Waiau - The Amuri Pistol Club, - they've got a web site: amuripc.org.nz
