    G'day hunters and shooters

I've been reading here for a long time so thought I better get my shit together and join.
I'm into deer stalking more than any thing else. Trophy and meat. I'll be trawling through a few old threads over the next week or two trying to find the best advice on a few bits of gear. I just spent the weekend in the bush on a solo trip 40km . Froze my tits off. I was at 3500ft. So a new sleeping bag and bed roll are the first on the list. I like things light so it could be a challenge . Always a compromise !

    Glad to be here.

Welcome T.T. What took you so long? Enjoy.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
