    G'day from Palmy

G'day. I'm a student at Massey in Palmerston North. Really keen on my Hunting and fly fishing. Have been out in the hills a few times since coming down to palmy but yet to have that much success finding a deer. Now that rugby season is coming to a close I should have an extra day in the weekend to double my chances! Cheers

Hey mate. I play for Massey Vets. I've poked my nose around the southern Ruahines on the western side a couple times, Pohangina valley that sorta thing, and I've been into the Tararuas from Shannon a bit. I tend to see more hunters than deer which is less than ideal but that's probably because I haven't really ventured more than a couple hours from the road end that often. I'm bloody keen though and well overdue for a deer considering the amount of hunts I've been on lately haha

Bush hunting is a little bit new to me to be honest. I've been hunting mainly in the evenings lately due to convenience but could be worth having an early start instead. Haha yea it's the hunting skills not the fitness letting me down. The hardest part is finding a road end that doesn't have a couple other utes parked up already.

Bush hunting takes a lot of time and practice. I suck at it. The bush hates me im sure of it lol.

Lol brads yeah my fitness is very poor tho.

For the utes just keep on going further or walk in further then them and fund soots away fron the tracks. Take map gps becon campus etc to ensure your odds if it all turns to shit
