    Gidday.

Hi all, I've always loved the bush. Grew up possum trapping after school, loved kicking round on dirt bikes with the mates, 50+ now got 4 kids, they've all had a taste of hunting and trapping too but it's not really something they've picked up and run with. Ah well there'll be grandkids right!
So I've been a fan of the forum since I got my gun license in 2014 and started getting into this deer stalking lark. Amazing wealth of info here for newbies, I thank you all so much it was a great place to start. Now I'm registered and can take part and maybe give a little back where I can.
Cut my teeth on a 243 and that puppy will always hold a special place in the cabinet, goto bush gun really.
Then about a year ago I got a 308 with dailey uppey scope and what not for the longer range stuff. So I'm finding myself back on the forum heaps with new focus on different threads.

    Cheers

    Welcome to the forum Steelo.
Nothing wrong with a 243. Of course a 308 will offer a few more options for the longer range stuff if you don't reload.

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
