    Greetings

Hi Ladies and Gents. Been following the forum for a bit. Just made my profile. I live in Auckland. I recently got my FA license and I’m pretty keen on deer hunting. I realise there is not a lot of public land close to me where I can hunt. I have been in the bush a handful of weekends. I am yet to buy my first rifle and shoot my first deer. Keen to get to know some people and perhaps tag along on a hunt with someone if possible. I have been gathering the basic gear so I can survive a couple nights in the bush and have a .308 I can use. P.S - just keen to get out there as much as possible and wouldn’t be opposed to some goat culling or tagging along on a pig hunt for the experience. Cheers.

Welcome to a spendy lifetime of acquiring lovely bits of kit .

Probably a good idea to join NZDA, especially as they have a decent range to use too.

Check the FB group called Take Me Hunting, plenty of GC's in there who take others out for a hunt.
