Not to bad I reckon. The heat in summer is worse I think - get a week or two of really hot temps a year. Winter is not to bad, yea the temps are low, but generally have low humidity and little wind.

I grew up in Horowhenua - I reckon the cold southerlies that used to roll through over winter were worse.
