Current conundrum is .17 HMR v .22 mag. Intended use I hares 100 -150 meters out.

My opinion, 17HMR for small game at those distances.

Like for like standard ammo and supressor, is there a significant noise level difference?
That's probably going to be the determining factor for me as dont want to be making too much of a scene on the land I have access to.
Otherwise, there seems to be decent arguments each way.
