Greetings from the top of the South

Howdy all, yip, been ghosting around here for a bit, so figured it was time I got more involved. Hoping to glean more info about stuff and things, while also offering up some advice / knowledge of my own that may assist others in some way. Been hunting for approx. 30 years all over the country but mainly in the South island after about 10 years in the North Island (mainly Tararuas and central north island area - TNP). Prefer deer stalking, I shoot a few alpine critters when the opportunity arises but mainly red-skins on the whole. Been to Fiordland and Stewart Island also, like tents not huts as a rule and when it gets too hot in the summer - start 'shooting' kingys as am a keen spearo.
Thanks retrospectively for the good reads I've had her in the past, and in advance for the ongoing interesting articles, advice etc.
    Cheers.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Welcome. Lots off good Forum buggers in this area. I'm sure you will get to meet some soon. Just watch that one they call @stingray. He will have you on the deep end of a drag net given half a chance.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

    G’day and welcome.

Is there any meaning behind your profile username?

It’s been a real wet season instead of a summer so far, with some legit monsoonal rainfall.
Tomorrow, the moon is as full as it gets this month too.
