Hi mate, from what iv googled, it will shoot the range I’m looking for, bullets are cheaper than bigger calibers, but quieter, things like that. But I’m not tied to it
that’s why I’m here. To learn 
I had a 243 many years ago but the farm was massive. I’m looking at a 54acre place at the mo n it’s near lifestyle blocks so I’m a little cautious with them
