    Hello

    Hi.
Just thought I'd introduce my self. Been looking at the forum for a while but never became a member until today. I am a young fella based in North Canterbury just starting out Hunting. Been doing all of my Hunting on Doc land so far, not much luck so far but I will get there one day. Looking forward to learning from people who have been there and done that before.

    Cheers,

Welcome, good to see another young member from north canterbury I’m in the same boat as you, can be tricky without having another hunter in the family. Recommend joining the Handloaders Association out at McLeans Island, has a great all-hours range for practicing your shooting and sighting in before a hunt, and they offer handloading courses which I intend to take!

    Welcome along.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
