    Hello!

Kia ora my names Dave. Seems like a common theme but long time lurker and finally decided to set up a profile. Already just reading through the wealth of information in the forums its improved my approach to hunting hugely. Normally go hunting with my son who's 13y and keen as but both my girls want to come along as well. We are all heaps better at fishing than hunting but personally providing food for my family is one of the most rewarding parts of life and hopefully learning from all the knowledge on the forum can only help...Cheers

    Welcome and enjoy Dave.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

Welcome Dave. You sound like many of us- plenty of hobbies but not enough time to do them all justice.

Cheers guys, seems as you get older and especially with kids, you get out when you can as opposed to best conditions etc

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
