    Hello from across the ditch

    Hi, Clinton here from Queensland in Australia. Was a member of the Fishnhunt forum but I think it has closed down.

    I have hiked into and hunted Westland numerous times for tahr and chamois with my recurve bow. Post covid I'm looking at doing it again so I joined the forum to get back into the loop.

    Cheers, I've been hanging out for some mountain time since before covid was invented. I miss the mountains there so much.

    With the tahr cull it seems hard to know the state of the hunting there now.

    How are Chamois numbers?

    Currently using a Border Black Douglas recurve. I have 58# and 70# limbs.

    Hiya matey. I've just ditched my compound and gearing up to learn an ifl recurve. Glad to see an aussie out in the rain, easiest tahr hunting ever. After yrs of coast hunting I now stick to the east side, much more productive for my effort.
