    Hello from across the ditch

Hi, Clinton here from Queensland in Australia. Was a member of the Fishnhunt forum but I think it has closed down.

I have hiked into and hunted Westland numerous times for tahr and chamois with my recurve bow. Post covid I'm looking at doing it again so I joined the forum to get back into the loop.

    cheers, Clint

Cheers, I've been hanging out for some mountain time since before covid was invented. I miss the mountains there so much.

With the tahr cull it seems hard to know the state of the hunting there now.

    How are Chamois numbers?

Still plenty of tahr around if you put in a bit of effort.

Is hiking into and hunting the tops in Westland with a tradbow enough effort?

    Welcome

What is your trad bow setup. Got any pics of kills with it?

    Cheers.
You tube? Nah not my thing. When I go hunting I want to hunt. Not film myself hunting.

Wow that's awesome. Love your cover to keep the feather fletchings dry.

That middle Tahr looks a beast, and the Chamois is that a unicorn?

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
