    Hello From Canada

Hi - I'm Mike Drury. I own and operate a small Canadian firearms manufacturing company called Alpine Riflecraft.
I live in Alberta, Canada, and am a Bighorn Sheep hunting fanatic.
I hunted the south island once years ago for Tahr and Chamois, unguided.
We had a fantastic time - I'd love to come back and do it again.
I've joined to gain some further knowledge and insight for hunting opportunities in New Zealand, introduce my business, and hope to contribute what I can.
    Cheers,
    Mike

    Welcome Mike.

Good to hear you enjoyed hunting NZ. I was fortunate to hunt Alberta a few years ago and also had a fantastic time.

Get in contact if you decide to return to NZ and need any help / info.

Unfortunately I've never been on a Polar bear hunt, and Grizzly was shut down prior to my having enough priority to hunt them here in Alberta. I do run into them frequently while hunting sheep though. Pretty cool to see them. Thankfully all encounters have ended without incident. Here is one from a hunt from around 2010 - probably my best grizzly pic.Name: DSC02008.JPG

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
