Thread: Hello from the frozen North

Skiing gents, sliding down snow covered peaks we call rocks here .. (in the summer we tend to shoot at them)

Alyeska Skiing area near Anchorage is OK but nothing like ya got there .

I worked in the construction of the new Heli Ski resort in Thompson Pass near Valdez Alaska "Tsaina Lodge" and got to see what "Heli Skiing" is all about.... NZ has world class skiing opportunities including Helicopter drop off skiing that is phenomenal !

A bunch here do the snowmachine up the back of the mt and ski down the steep side , gotta do something in the winter or go mad from cabin fever
