    Hello and its ok to hate me

    Hi,
    I'm new here and probably not trusted so I thought i'd introduce myself.

    I'm originally from the USA and moved here in 2004. I live in rural Otago and own a E-cat licence and 'evil' guns (which i keep in a E-cat safe so they can't leave and hurt someone on their own).
    Being American, Conservative, white, male, over 50, heterosexual, Catholic, life member of the NRA and prior military I think that makes me one of the most hated people in NZ at the moment.

    I'm not associated with police except for knowing a few, intelligence (although i do think i'm intelligent) or any groups more radical than Lions Club and Rural Women NZ. I am not a racist or a bigot but i do hold people accountable for their own actions and rarely forgive.
    I am a stickler for laws (even the ones i don't agree with). I don't agree with any hate speech laws as the most hurtful word is "NO".

    I'm just here to enjoy guns with fellow gun owners as we see the sunset approaching on gun ownership along with trying to get a spare mag for my E-cat shotgun before they are all destroyed.

    I'm against the gun ban because he also used explosives and those are already banned. Also, any military 'gun nut' will tell you the most lethal gun in close quarters is a shot shotgun.

    Anyway, that's me

    Sounds like well get along just fine.

    I was looking at NZ exosives regulation today in fact wondering why changes to the Hazardous Substances Controls Notice aren't being rushed through parliament to buy back last year's fireworks...

    yeah, there should be a ban on bleach, steel wool, batteries, brake fluid, salt, etc...... i guess chemistry class is now considered "Hate Speech"

    dont worry the govt makes far too much money off fireworks to ban them.......they will most likely put restrictions on us buying gunpowder while for three days a year any moron over 16 can buy fireworks (which are essentially explosives). kind of ironic tho that we celebrate an english(attempted) act of terrorism . .......or was it just a case of one mans last ditch effort to reign in a corrupt out of control government...........
