    Talking Hello - Oli1102

    Hey Guys,

I am a new member to the forum. I had been lurking for a few months but joined when I scope I had been looking for came up for sale.

I will try to get more involved with discussions now that I can post.

I am into hunting but still learning the ropes. I can shoot but not too sure what to do after that point, with field dressing etc. I am getting out with some other hunters so will learn with time.

I have started getting into longer range (up to 800m) shooting with my .270Win hunting rifle, and am going to build a .300WM or a 6.5CM in the next few years for more long range/PRS target shooting.

I am also a relative beginner to pistol shooting, starting a couple of years ago and am a member of Marlborough Pistol Club.

    Thanks,
    Ollie

Welcome Ollie. Blenheim aye? That town goes down in history as the only place someone has seriously threatened to shoot me across a dinner table.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
