    Hello from Queenstown

    Hi everyone,

    A quick intro: I came to hunting a bit later in life, but it didn’t take long for the bug to bite!

    For the past two years, I’ve been actively involved with the Southern Lakes NZDA; I'm now helping out with the branch and organising trips.

    One of my greatest joys is getting my two boys off their screens and out into the wild—whether hunting, exploring, or sharing adventures in the great outdoors.

    Looking forward to connecting with you all!

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    10 & 7, we organised the kids range day earlier this month. It was a great day to get the kids on the rifles. We burned through a stack of 22 ammo and had loads of smiles.
