    Hello. Quick Intro :)

    Hello Gentlemen,

I am a semi-noob, 18 year old, hunter to be, ... hopefully! Waiting on my gun license to arrive in the post at the moment, which ive heard can be a lengthy process. I have
been reading/scanning through the forums to try and learn as much as I can before I start my hunting "career". Based in Auckland, so judging from my 'Spot x" hunting book,
i am a fair while away from any good hunting spots Hoping to pry as much information from the experienced hunters on here as I can though!

I am not completely new to the idea of hunting as i originally came from South Africa (about 10 years ago), and I would go on hunting trips with dad as a young lad, but never
actually shot anything. Went back for a visit beginning of this year, and managed to get a trophy Springbok. But its a completely different style of hunting over there, as its pretty
much a case of jumping on the back of the ute (a special hilux with hunting seats and rests on the back), driving through the farmers property until u see something (flat as country),
stalking up to it, and then shooting it. So i do realize that NZ hunting is a much more challenging form of the sport! But I am very keen to get into it and learn the NZ way of hunting!

Any tips at all would be very much appreciated!

    Cheers

    Alwyn

By law, you are required to turn on your headlights if it's raining in Sweden.

How the hell am I supposed to know if it's raining in Sweden?
