Probably should have done this a little earlier, but oh well.

I'm Phillip Grant. I'm 18, currently studing at Auckland uni. I've always loved the outdoors, the bush and the sea included. Tramping has been a favorite pastime for me over the past 4 or so years but I'm moving on to bigger and better things, that is, hunting deer!! I shot my first and so far only deer a few years ago and loved it! A few months back I got my firearms license and I've since bought a 7mm08. I am yet to kill anything with it but its all sighted in and ready to go when the uni holidays roll by (right now I'm at uni 5 days and working the other 2, doesn't leave much time to head out into the bush:oh noes:). I've joined the forum to learn stuff and connect with other keen (and more experienced) hunters. I don't have much of a history with hunting, pretty much starting from scratch, but looking forward to getting right into it.
