Thread: Hey

Probably should have done this a little earlier, but oh well.

I'm Phillip Grant. I'm 18, currently studing at Auckland uni. I've always loved the outdoors, the bush and the sea included. Tramping has been a favorite pastime for me over the past 4 or so years but I'm moving on to bigger and better things, that is, hunting deer!! I shot my first and so far only deer a few years ago and loved it! A few months back I got my firearms license and I've since bought a 7mm08. I am yet to kill anything with it but its all sighted in and ready to go when the uni holidays roll by (right now I'm at uni 5 days and working the other 2, doesn't leave much time to head out into the bush). I've joined the forum to learn stuff and connect with other keen (and more experienced) hunters. I don't have much of a history with hunting, pretty much starting from scratch, but looking forward to getting right into it.
