    Hey Fellas (and ladies)

    Hey fellas.
Been absorbing all the good info on here for a few months now while i waited for my FAL to be approved - finally got my licence last month - invested in a .308 and i'm chomping at the bit to take my rifle for a walk on the West side of the Tararua's

I've always been a keen fisher/ surfcaster and now i'm in my mid-40's i really don't know why i never got into hunting sooner!

Predominantly in it to gather meat - but also just love being in the outdoors.

Anyway - cheers to everyone for sharing their knowledge and stories - i've learnt a lot just from reading - now it's just a matter of getting out there, looking for animal sign, slowing right down and just learning to spot them!

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
