I am new to the Hunting Game. Have been a keen fishing and diving hunter for many years but have taken up the hunting with a gun and bow as well. Did my first trip to the southern slopes of Mt Ruapehu last week for three days but no luck. Had great weather bit cold.

I am looking at coming down again in Spring with a few friends and doing a heli trip. Can anyone give me any feedback on the blocks that Helisika offer ?

Any help would be great as I am keen to get my first deer. Make that first anything with gun or bow.

If there are any Northland hunters with a few spots or want a shooting buddy I can make time most days and weekends. As long as the wife lets me go. Just have to start getting something in the freezer or she will not let you out as much.

welcome mate, the helisika website has all the blocks and prices on there, central helicopters (rotorua) might be worth a look to.

Hi Neckshot ... did not think we had any deer left in Northland. Will have to do a few walks in the forest to see if I can see any sign. Cheers John You sure your friend had not been drinking to much !!!!
