    Hi All

    Hi All

Just joined the forum so thought it polite to introduce myself,

My name is Gary, Garilla is what my darling nieces call me as apparently I look like a gorilla. Came over from the UK about 3 years ago but I've been visiting for the last 10 years since my sister moved here.

Love the Kiwi lifestyle, first priority was to buy a ute and boat. Now I want to get out hunting, did a bit of clay shooting back in the UK and got my NZ FAL about 6 months ago. Bought a 10/22 and have been bunny busting a few times on a mates lifestyle block to get use to shooting a rifle. Going out in the spring with some work mates on my first deer hunt so I'm trying to absorb as much info as I can. Been browsing the site for a while so know there's a lot of knowledgeable good buggers I can learn from.

    Cheers,

    Gary.

    Onya Gazza, dive right in.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
