    Hi all

    Yes, Pew-Pew here.

Fresh of the boat from SA.

I'm planning on a custom rifle built, so will ask a lot of advise and recommendations for parts, smith's etc. The rifle will be used for long range competions/plinking. Not FTR or F Open. More for steel targets like the Alpine Long range stuff.

I'm also a keen reloader. Been doing it for a few years now.

    Regards

Hi Pew-pew and welcome. Can I assume SA is South Africa not South Australia? I’m in Wellington where do you plan to stay?

Hi Pew-Pew and welcome. Ignore 308’s comment about the nectar of the gods that is Waikato. It is a simple reality that only men have developed the necessary strength to embrace the ambrosia that it is. Ha ha ha ha.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Welcome Pew Pew

Ignore my comments about Waikato, we just like rarking Rushy up seeing as for some reason he has it confused with good beer

From what Saffer mates tell me, you can reload with any powder ya like - they told me that there was a limited choice back in SA but i'm happy to be wrong

Also you will find that if you join Deerstalkers and your local pistol club you'll be tooled up in no time - it's pretty easy here, ya just have to keep your visits up to a minimum of 12 per year for a pistol license

Just never let the words "self defense" escape your lips..
