    Hi all

New member intro. Im a keen hunter from Taihape who struggles to find enough time between work and bloody kids to get out hunting enough. I really enjoy discovering new country so tend to travel a bit for my trips these days and defintely have a south Island fetish going on at the moment. These days Im mostly after trophy heads representative of the area Im in as well as taking out younger friends to help them get into hunting. I am currently shooting a BSA 257 roberts and a 300 dakota as my longer range rig. Ive recently picked up a bow and am keen to give this a good try this roar coming up.

Welcome... Good luck with the bow. I don't have the patience for bow shooting.

Welcome to the forum. How is the gumboot capital these days?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
