Hi all, Got told about this place so just checking in.

    Hello Everyone

Im on the West Coast south island, Got a thing for Sportcos so have a few of those.
Really like stock restoration so have stripped and cleaned up mine, Dont get out much for a hunt lifes busy being self empolyed and a dad to my 7 year old daughter but like getting out for a lazy few hrs hitting some targets if i can but finding a place out the way is getting tough, Back rds getting gated up due to clowns trashing and burning out cars etc.
No ranges here anymore, Back in the day the NZDSA had a good one but it got closed.
I see i cant post pics yet or links, A few months back i started a Sportco Omark sporting arms Australia Fb page i have full consent from Sportco so if anyone has any pics or storys to share about Sportco Firearms Or Omarks target shooting join and i will add you.

    Cheers.

Gidday. Owned two Sportco’s in the past. One was the pump action box mag fed one. Liked the concept just didn’t work for me. Only recently sold it. Had a semi for a while. Sold it cos it was misfiring too much for me..

Thats it NZs fucked, time for another world war and a full reset!
When you can no longer drive all the old logging roads on the south island west coast this place is truly fucked.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

Hi Cazna, welcome to the forum. My first 22 was a Sportco semi. Liked the look of it, but it kept jamming on me.

Hi Guys thanks for the quick welcomes. Yes the semi sportcos do seem to have some jamming issues, Not all the sportco models were successful by the sound of it, Ive tended to stick with the bolt actions so these are very nice, Well to me anyway lol.

It is nuts to think all those years gone by of freedom and the huge playground of back rds now closing down, I cant believe it but health and safteys taking its toll in all areas of life nowdays.
