There's always plenty of wild deer on certain farms if you're fortunate enough to get access. Usually have to have some sort of connection or something to to offer the landowner to get regular hunting in these sorts of places. So right mate. Although I'd love to have access to private land with higher animal of numbers, I do feel a greater sense of achievement when I do manage to bag something on public land. Plus if the freezer was to be full all the time I'd have no excuse to go on more hunts!

Too true re not over stocking the freezer. . . . haha. Especially when convincing the fairer sex of the need to get some good tucker. Also, nothing like banging one on the public estate! Getting a venison on a farm can't really be compared to the skill and effort required on public estate. Hot barrels mate!
