My advice from someone who moved to another town with no connections is join some clubs and shoot lots ... and follow some of the threads on this forum and respectfully seek the permission of farmers to give you permission to gain farm access - even to shoot bunnies !
My experiences are that the spirit of your average farmer will blow your mind if approached in the right way! All the best ... cheers PJ
