    Hi from Horowhenua

    G'day guys.

Just typing up a quick intro on this overcast Sunday here in the Horowhenua, missus is in oz so cant get out and do anything, stuck at home with the kiddos.
We have just recently moved here for work and I am very keen to get out into the bush and learn some craft and do a bit of hunting here. Been out for a few recces but nothing seen so far.
Have got a love for the bush and hunting but have not been out much due to working circumstances and the young family.

My history is I once had all the gear but didn't use it, now I'm getting out there without the gear! Got a rifle I'm leading the bid on, its just and old BSA 7mm Rem Mag which finishes in a few hours on trademe.
Cant wait to get out for a bit of a look over the next week or so up the northern end of the Tararuas.

Thats about it for now so I mgiht see you round here on the forums or even out and about up in the Tararuas.

    Cheers
    Malachi

    Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
