Hi from a Jok living in Middle England and enjoying life.

As above, from the land of the brave, Bonny Scotland. Had to do a quick exit at an early age and here I am. Where we are, at the moment is a tremendously productive area for field sports. Actively into deer stalking, red, fallow, roe and muntjac, rabbiting with long dogs, long nets and ferrets, birding, pheasant, partridge, wild duck and Woodpigeon and have a healthy interest in gundogs. One of my favourite hobbies is cooking so as you might imagine, game figures highly on the agenda. I recently had the good fortune to meet, on our own Hunting Life forum, a couple of members from Australia with whom I've done some business. (Ferret boxes). Looking forward to reading and seeing your accounts of working the game in NZ. I very nearly ended up in Tasmania in 1983 through being in the ME and looking for a new challenge. Maybe you have members from that area also. As I'm writing this, plans are already afoot for our weekends challenges. Red deer stag tonight as the weather has picked up and they might come out of the woods, driven day on the birds Saturday, ferreting on Sunday and then prepping, hopefully a shit load of game for the butcher. Right guys that's my intro. Look forward to hearing from you all. Jok.

Welcome Jok. It sounds like you had a lucky escape, did the magistrate decide not to send you to Tasmania? They must be more lenient now.

Nice welcome you guys. Just to let you know that since my intro, got a nice fallow hanging, 38 rabbits ready for skinning and I think 23 pheasant. I'm a fairly happy hunter. Jok.
