    Hi Kiwi Hunters

    G'day folks,
I am an Aussie hunter, in my mid-sixties, and have been hunting for near on 60 years, mostly in Australia.
Next year I hope to experience hunting in fabulous NZ. I clearly remember way back, as a youngster, reading about the adventures of the deer cullers and the great NZ scenery and hunting.
Later on, I will seek some advice from members about where I should plan on going for my adventure.
For now, thanks for accepting me and good hunting.

G’day Aussie welcome in. What’s the hunting like where you are at the moment? What animals do you harvest?

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Hi Sako851
I live in tropical far North Queensland. Currently, the wet season is keeping me home.
Most weeks I get out on neighbouring and close-by farms looking for wild dog and boar.
A few times a year, my wife and I hunt Chital deer for meat to stock our freezer.
I am not a trophy hunter, but have nothing against it & some of my buddies are keen trophy hunters.
    cheers

    Hi Rees
When I get to NZ I am hoping to find a relatively flat spot!
My hunting buddy and I are reasonably fit, but carry a few old injuries that make too many steep hills unpleasant.
    cheers

    Hi Gonetrope,
I don't have any location in mind just yet.
I do not know much about hunting NZ, so over the year I will be seeking opinions and suggestions about that.
    cheers
