    Hi, new to forum

    Hi guys howsit it going?

new to forum and to deer hunting, have a little experience with birds.

Living down in Dunedin, just picked up a .308 and looking to get into some serious deer and pig hunting. I usually hunt birds 1-2 a week (addicted) so am really looking forward to the challange of bigger sport.

Looking to learn and make some networks to hunt with, as most of my hunting mates are up in Aucks.

I need to sight in my rilfe, In believe there is a range that DS do on saturdays, never been but will look for it this weekend.

Any ideas on how to find and/or organise hunts around the area?

    cheers
    James

Bloody hope so,, just drops his head and backs off a metre or two when I lift rifle and shoot, after that he is fine, sees the bird going down and gets it. Some times gets a bit sheepish
